Goldsboro, NC – James and Felecia Best can still remember watching the flood waters rise when Hurricane Matthew hit their home in Goldsboro.

“Water was everywhere,” James recalled. “I’ve lived in that home for 60 years and I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Goldsboro – When Hurricanes Matthew and Florence hit Wayne County, they severely damaged Carol Parker’s home of almost 20 years.

“The windows were broken, and there was water damage everywhere,” Carol described. “I felt so overwhelmed.”
